Mansfield High School Aptitude Test

The videos below show the steps to make a simple component on the Formula High School Race car. This aptitude test uses the following steps.

Step 1/ Download the Drawing here if the teacher hasn't already supplied it.

Step 2/ Download the Job Card here if the teacher hasn't already supplied it.

Step 3/ Your trainer/teacher will supply you with a quiz that must be completed in conjunction with the videos below. You are able to re-watch the videos while undertaking the quiz as required.

Step 4/ Once you have watched the videos and completed the quiz you must obtain the teachers permission to enter the workshop to carry out the practical component of the aptitude test.

• Personal Protective equipment must be worn at all times.
• You must Follow the teachers instructions at all times.
• You must work in a safe manner at all times.
• You must complete your work in a timely manner.

Step 5/ Once you have completed manufacturing the component, you must show your work to the teacher for a sign off. The component must fit the supplied jig neatly without being loose or tight. It must be a nice fit.
